Instructions for presenters

General Information (Applies to all presenters)

  • All presentations will be deleted after the congress to avoid copyright issues.

 

Oral Sessions

  • Presentation Submission:
    • Upload presentations by the end of the day before your session.
    • Upload using a USB memory stick directly onto the presentation room computer.
    • Staff will be available for assistance and technical issues.
    • Personal laptops are discouraged. If using your own, you'll need a VGA or HDMI video adapter.
    • Rooms are very long; be sure to use large fonts.

  • File Format & Settings:
    • Save as .ppt, .pptx or .pdf files.
    • Recommended: .ppt format due to proprietary fonts.
    • Videos: MPG and AVI are preferred. Convert QuickTime movies to MPG or AVI. Save video files on your USB memory stick along with your presentation.

 

  • Checking Your Presentation:
    • It is your responsibility to ensure your presentation displays correctly on the conference computers.
    • The duration for the presentations are:
      • General invited lectures: 35 min presentation + 5 min questions
      • Topical invited lectures: 25 min presentation + 5 min questions
      • Contributed oral presentations: 15 min presentation + 5 min questions
      • Special session presentations: 20 min presentation + 5 min questions

 

Poster Sessions

  • Location: Grand Hall Pouillon.
  • Board Size: suitable for an A0 size (841 x 1189 mm) poster in portrait orientation.
  • Materials: Tapes and clips will be supplied by the organizers.
  • Displaying Posters:
    • Poster Session 1 (Monday, July 21, 13:45-15:45),
    • Poster Session 2 (Tuesday, July 22, 14:30-16:10),
    • Poster Session 3 (Thursday, July 23, 13:30-15:30),
    • Poster Session 4 (Thursday, July 25, 09:30-11:15),
    • All posters should be displayed at least 30 minutes before the start time of your poster session.
  • Removing Posters:
    • Remove your poster immediately after the end of your poster session.
